Rebecca Ellison holds a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication with a minor in English and a specialization in Education from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (1992). She earned a Master of Arts in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Organizational Communication from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1994. In 2010, she earned a PhD in Education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Dr. Ellison began teaching at Jefferson College in August 2000. She has served on the Faculty Senate and the Cultural Events and Community Outreach Committee. She is also involved with the PACE subcommittee. Dr. Ellison has directed numerous plays and musicals in the Theatre Department. She was named the Phi Theta Kappa teacher of the year for 2003-2004 and won the Outstanding Achievement Award for Faculty (the Emerson Award) in 2007.

Jane Sullivan received an Associate of Arts Degree from Jefferson College, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theatre and English from Fontbonne University, and a Master of Arts Degree from Essex University in Colchester, England. As a faculty member at Jefferson College for over 20 years, Ms. Sullivan has taught Oral Communication, Public Speaking, Beginning Acting and Theater Appreciation. She is a founding member of the Honors Program and teaches two Honors classes, Oral Communication and Theater Appreciation. She also developed WebCT versions of Oral Communication and Theater Appreciation.

Ms. Sullivan is the 1995 recipient of the Governor`s Award for Excellence in Education, the Linda Johnston Excellence in Assessment Award in 1999-2000, and the Missouri Community College Award for Innovation in Teaching in 2001. She has acted in and directed numerous productions at Jefferson College and other theaters.
