Title: Associate Professor Master of Social Work: Saint Louis University Susan Welch earned her Master of Science in Social Work from St. Louis University and her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Missouri. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and full-time faculty member in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at Jefferson College. Throughout her work in the field of Social Work, Susan?s primary focus has been on families and individuals. Professional experiences are comprised of work with clients from birth to end of life, and of very diverse and resilient families. Clinical social work experiences included work with families in crisis, child welfare, adoption, individual and family counseling, crisis intervention, grief and loss and medical social work. Susan has been a full-time faculty member at Jefferson College since 2011. |

As an adjunct instructor at both Jefferson College and Washington University Brown School of Social Work, she has helped equip the next generation of social justice advocates. As a social worker at Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, she has been an advocate for some of our state`s most vulnerable residents. As Director of Social Work Services at 1st Choice In-Home Care Services, she empowers individuals to live with dignity.

Jennifer Wallis | |||
Title: Master of Social Work: Saint Louis University Jennifer earned her Master`s in Social Work degree from St. Louis University and her Bachelor`s of Art`s degree in Psychology and Sociology from Maryville University. Jennifer has worked with women who have been abused by their spouses, women who have been in prison, children who were involved with the juvenile justice system, children involved in special education, women and children with alcohol and/or drug addictions, children whose parents were either separated or divorced and their parents, children who have been abused (physically and sexually) by their parents and children and adults who are mentally ill. Currently Jennifer works part time for the Fox C-6 School District as a school social worker at the Don Earl Early Childhood Center. |
