Sarah Akridge | |||
Title: Assistant Professor Master of Science Nursing: Walden University Mrs. Akridge entered the healthcare field after attending Certified Nurses Aide classes at Jefferson College in 2006. Since then, she has obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University (2011) and Masters in Nursing Education from Walden University (2019). Mrs. Akridge worked in acute care for over 10 years as well as hospice. She has been certified in medical surgical nursing, and has also participated in many leadership roles and research studies. She joined the Jefferson College Bi-Level Nursing team in the spring of 2017 as a clinical instructor, teaching medical-surgical clinical rotations, before accepting a full-time faculty position in the fall of 2017. Mrs. Akridge is excited to share her clinical reasoning, knowledge, and leadership with the nursing students of Jefferson College. |

Christine Kelly Clark | |||
Title: Assistant Professor Bachelor of Science Nursing: Central Methodist University Mrs. Kelly-Clark is a 2011 Jefferson College nursing alumna. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Central Methodist University. She is currently working on obtaining an MSN-Ed at Benedictine University. Her nursing experience is in long-term care, critical care/cardiac stepdown, labor & birth, and most recently the educator for Women`s Services. She is also certified in electronic fetal monitoring. She joined the Jefferson College Bi-Level Nursing team in 2020 as a full-time faculty member and Level II Coordinator. Mrs. Kelly-Clark describes herself as a life-long learner and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her future nurses. |
Amy McDaniel | |||
Title: Director of Nursing Master of Science Nursing: Chamberlain College Of Nursing Mrs. McDaniel began her career in the healthcare field in 1994 as a certified nurse aide. She then pursued a career in massage therapy and worked as a licensed massage therapist until 2007. She returned to school as a non-traditional student and is a 2009 Jefferson College nursing alumna. She obtained her BSN with Chamberlain College where she graduated cum laude with Presidential Honors in 2012, and completed her MSN degree in education graduating cum laude in 2017. Her nursing background is medical/surgical nursing, outpatient surgery, surgical intensive care, and neuro intensive care. Mrs. McDaniel joined the Jefferson College Bi-Level Nursing team in 2012 as a faculty instructor and accepted program directorship in 2019. |
Paige Pellmann | |||
Title: Instructor Master of Science Nursing: Western Governors Univ (main code) Mrs. Pellmann began her nursing career at the age of 20 as a patient care technician at St. Louis Children`s hospital while obtaining her BSN. She obtained her BSN at GSON in 2016 and MSN from WGU in 2022. Her nursing background includes pediatrics, oncology, nursing education, case management, home health, and labor & delivery. She started her career in nursing education at BECK School of Practical Nursing, she also taught at Applied Tech, and then accepted a full-time position with the Jefferson College Bi-Level Nursing team in 2022. She loves learning, sharing her knowledge with others, and plans to obtain her certification as a certified nurse educator. Mrs. Pellmann is excited to watch her students grow into future nurses and become leaders in the healthcare system. |
Sarah Peppers | |||
Title: Instructor Bachelor of Science Nursing: Barnes-Jewish C Of Nrsg Mrs. Peppers graduated from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes Jewish College with a Bachelors in Nursing in 2014. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Nursing Education at Walden University. The majority of her nursing career has taken place in the float pool at Mercy Jefferson Hospital. Mrs. Peppers has experience in critical care, medical-surgical, behavioral health, and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. She joined the Jefferson COllege Bi-Level Nursing team as a clinical instructor in 2017 and accepted a full-time faculty position in 2021. Mrs. Peppers is excited to share her bedside knowledge and critical thinking skills with the students at Jefferson College. |
Jennifer Record | |||
Title: Instructor Bachelor of Science Nursing: Truman State University Mrs. Record graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State) in 1995. The majority of her career has been in Perioperative Nursing. She also has experience in ENT, OB clinic, missions, and Urgent Care settings. In 2015, Mrs. Record joined Jefferson College as an adjunct clinical instructor. Since then, she has moved into the Simulation lab and didactic instruction in the classroom, accepting a full-time faculty role in 2021. Mrs. Record is passionate about sharing her nursing knowledge with nursing students. |
Maggie Rola | |||
Title: Nursing Clinical Coordinator Bachelor of Science Nursing: Barnes-Jewish C Of Nrsg Mrs. Rola graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2015. She completed the Pediatrics fellowship at Mercy St. Louis and worked in a variety of settings in the Women`s and Children`s tower. Since graduating, Mrs. Rola has obtained her certification as a Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) and Association of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Nurse (APHON) Provider. In addition to her role as Clinical Coordinator, Mrs. Rola has taught pediatric clinical rotations and simulation experiences for Jefferson College. She is also now pursuing her MSN-Ed from Walden University. Mrs. Rola joined the Jefferson College Bi-Level Nursing team in 2019 and is excited to provide meaningful clinical experiences for the Jefferson College PN and RN level students. |

Title: Assistant Director of Nursing Master of Science Nursing: Central Methodist University Mrs. Schneider began her nursing career at the age of 18 as a certified nurse assistant. She then returned to school as a non-traditional student and is a 2009 Jefferson College nursing alumna. She obtained both her BSN and MSN from Central Methodist University. Her nursing background includes medical/surgical nursing, critical care (stepdown unit), vascular access team, and infection prevention and control. She loves learning and sharing her knowledge with others and plans to obtain her certification as a healthcare simulation educator. Mrs. Schneider joined the Jefferson College Bi-Level Nursing team in 2016 as the Clinical Coordinator and accepted the position of Assistant Director in 2020. |
