Michelle Gundlach | |||
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine: U Of Illinois-Urbana Champaign Dr. Michelle Gundlach received her Bachelor`s degree in biology from Western Illinois University Summa Cum Laude in 1988. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine as salutatorian of the Class of 1992. Dr. Gundlach spent several years in rural mixed animal practice before changing focus to small animal clinical practice. She served 3 years as President of the Southern Illinois VMA, as well as 7 years on the Illinois State VMA Board of Directors. She accepted the position of Director of Education for the ISVMA in 2013. Teaching has always been a strong interest for Dr. Gundlach; she is happy to have the opportunity to be a veterinary technology educator at Jefferson College. She resides in Illinois with her husband, daughter, and multiple pets. |

Marialana Speidel | |||
Master of Science in Education: Missouri Baptist University Marialana Speidel earned both a B.S. and M.S. in biology from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In addition, she has an M.S. in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Missouri Baptist University. Her background includes extensive laboratory work in pharmaceutical, food, aerosol, and waste water treatment industries. Ms. Speidel has done additional research work with cyanobacteria under the direction of Dr. Teresa Thiel at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Ms. Speidel enjoys working and living on a farm with her husband and two children. Her hobbies include astronomy and outdoor activities. Ms. Speidel is an advocate for individuals with disabilities and promotes inclusion in the classroom and community. |
Kenny Wilson | |||
Master of Health Science: Washington University Kenny received his BS in Physical Therapy from Saint Louis University in 1991 and MHS from Washington University of Saint Louis in 2001. Kenny is also a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist, a Certified Hand Therapist, and Certified Athletic Trainer. He has spent his 20+year career focused on treating orthopedic patients. Although Kenny has treated a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses, his area of focus has been the care of upper extremity injuries in the athletic and industrial populations. In addition to his role as Division Chair of Health Occupation Programs and adjunct faculty for the OTA and PTA Programs at Jefferson College, Kenny has served as an adjunct faculty member at Saint Louis University in the School of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. Kenny is a member of the National Athletic Trainer`s Association, American Physical Therapy Association, National Network of Health Career Programs in Two-Year Colleges, and the Missouri Community College Association. |
