PSY 225 Abnormal Psychology

Prerequisites: PSY101 or PSY101H with a minimum grade of a "C" and reading proficiency
Abnormal Psychology is a survey of psychological disorders focused on symptoms and diagnostic criteria with a review of prevalence, etiology, prevention, and psychotherapy. This course includes an overview of historical/sociocultural definitions, research methods, ethical/legal issues, assessment, and classification of psychopathology. (F,S)
