Course Description
PSC 202 Intro to Comparative Politics

Pre-/corequisite: Reading Proficiency
Introduction to Comparative Politics introduces students to political life outside the United States. The course uses a comparative method to examine the political structures, political economies and demographic issues of nine comparative states. Comparative politics covers a range of topics including the formation of the nation- state, democracy, authoritarian governments and the role of political parties in each state studied. (D)
