Course Description
| PAR 220 Paramedic Clinical Practicum I |
Prerequisites: EMT206, or one year, documented, full-time patient care experience; ENG101, with a grade of "C" or better; BIO116 or BIO212, with a grade of "C" or better; reading profiency; current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification; current Missouri EMT license; criminal background check; current immunizations required: MMR, PPD, Flu, Hepatitis B series, Tdap, and Varicella series.

Paramedic Clinical Practicum I provides the student clinical rotations in the designated areas in contracted hospitals. The student will be required to learn and demonstrate multiple skills and a requisite number of patient contacts while rotating through the various hospital areas. (F)
