Criminal Investigation for Law Enforcement studies the criminal act and its investigation including specific crimes against the person and against property. The process of fact-gathering, testing of hypotheses, and the problem of proof are also examined. This coursework uses the current Missouri Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) curriculum related to criminal investigation. (D)
